First Baptist Church is located at 130 Main Street in South Berwick. We are located at the corner of Rt. 4 & Rt. 236 where we have been actively engaged in the South Berwick community for many generations.

As a congregation, we are open to change that helps us to accomplish our vision. We trust that we are seen as a caring and welcoming community of people with a a strong prayer life and desire to faithfully serve.

As a church, we are members of the Body of Christ, chosen through grace and confessing Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Savior. Guided by the Word and the Spirit. We are committed to being and making disciples through glorifying God in worship, believing and living, going and growing, and sharing and caring as active  witness of Christ throughout the world. We believe in the infallibility of Scripture and God's inspiration for every word. Salvation is ours if we will accept what Christ has done through God's grace to redeem us from our sins and restore our eternal relationship with Him.
